Yes we do. It's a 32 man Rush or Conquest server (to our liking) with many admins and players within the clan. Our server name is [uBp] Purgatory Chicago, IP @ 75.102.38.152 , Port 48888
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 11/24/2007):
Find your CoD folder. (probably here: "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition") Inside CoD, look for your "Main" folder.
Inside Main, locate file named "config_mp.cfg"
Right Click on that file, select "Open With" and then select WordPad to open it.
(It's a text file, but only WordPad will show it normally formatted. In Notepad it looks like a mess)

You will see a portion that looks like this:
bind SHIFT "+melee"
bind F1 "vote yes"
bind F2 "vote no"
bind F4 "+scores"
bind F12 "screenshotJPEG"

I use F7 to start the demo, and F8 to Stop the Demo, if you want to use the same keys then simply insert the following:
between the F4 and F12 lines. Do it EXACTLY as it appears, bind (space) Key (space) Command IN QUOTES ("Record" + "Stoprecord")
bind F7 "record"
bind F8 "stoprecord"

Save and close the file. And your ready to go. Different mods might require doing this in a different folder. For instance the AOW mod has it's config_mp.cfg file in the : "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition\Bloody" folder. You will have to do the same thing there if you want to take demos in that server.

Purg/FK demos will be found in the "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition\Main\Demos" folder
AOW demos will be found in the "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition\Bloody\Demos" folder.
File name will look like this: demo0000.dm_2 (1st demo), demo0001.dm_2 (second demo) ....etc
To make things easier for review - rename the file with the players name (without special characters)
Example: yEsIhAcK.dm_2

Contact your division leader for information on who to send the demo to.

DO NOT SAY ANYTHING IN GAME! Find an admin in Ventrilo and inform them. They can help get rid of the hacker. You can tell the people that can do things by their names. Our admins, while in Ventrilo, have tags after their names, resembling what they do contained in brackets. An example would be the division leaders should all have [DL] after their names. In game, our admins are denoted by a blue *. These people are put on job to help YOU out. IF we do not have an admin available, please go spectate and get a sufficient demo (please do NOT send 20 minute demos) of the hacker and email it to servers@clanubp.net Please use our contacts page listed below and contact of of the RCON holders listed: http://contact.clanubp.net/
(Submitted by teh1337tim on 10/22/2007):
The main united base players clan tags are [uBp] or uBp|. [uBp] version that we had since the beginning and many of the older members proudly wear it in honor of the past good times we all had. uBp| is a relatively new addition to the tags but generally both is accepted and we do not distinguish tags between members or admins... For that, you must come onto ventrillo to see whose who.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Usually you have to wear the recruit tags for 30 days.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Yes recruits all must wear red r tags. ^1[uBp]r^7NameHere (looks like [uBp]rNameHere in game).
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
You can pull down console BEFORE you get in game and put in your name with the following command: /name ^1[uBp]^7YourNameHere. You can also go to multiplayer options and do the same thing in there.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
The console is disabled in all of our servers most of the day for security reasons.

FIrst and most important you must have the non-free version of TM, that basically means you should have Trackmania United Forever. Then you can earn coppers in different ways in game like by playing the pre-existing challenges in game and getting very good times on each track, by sharing your tracks or skins with other players, playing online and winning races on united servers, winning coppers lotery on some servers with these app, and many other ways you can find by playing TMUF
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 01/13/2009):
Coppers are a kind of virtual "money" you can use to to buy different building blocks, simply called "Blocks", for your track, including: regular road, checkpoints, long bends, loop-the-loops, and jumps, which all snap to a grid automatically. Coppers can also be used to upgrade TM servers into ranked servers, which means that only high ranked players can get in this servers, and this guarantee that you can race there and prove yourself against non-rookie addversaries.
(Submitted by StewartR on 01/13/2009):
If you want to donate coppers, just get into our LOL or Short + mini servers and click on the lower right corner the amount of coppers you want to donate
(Submitted by StewartR on 05/08/2008):
First download the uBp signs pack from our division site tm.clanubp.net, after that unzzipit, then you will see a new folder containing files that are named uBpsign1 to uBpsign7 and theirs .loc (locators files, which are useless in TMNF), now go to any hosting site (like www.fileden.com) and create a free account, after that upload every single one of the uBpsign files (but no the .loc files), this way you´ll receive a URL for each one of the signs. With all of these done, go to your track (editor), add as many signs as you wish, and once you finish, click the little bucket icon in the lower right side of your screen, then you´ll see that every sign will be hightlighted in blue (this means you can select them by clicking on them), then click the one that you wanna change to a uBp sign and a little window will pop up with an option named "select URL", click it and paste there the URL of the sign you wanna use (you can get the URL in the hosting site that you used for upload the files) and click ok twice, open that little window again (by selecting the sign again) and now you will see in the skin list, the sign we wanna use, click on its name and that´s it, now you can have uBp in your tracks too.
(Submitted by Cpt.KBK on 04/27/2008):
Yes you can, just follow the next steps:
First go to My Documents folder and Trackmania folder,
For tracks:
Step 1: FOR TRACKS, copy the track you are gonna use and then go into the Tracks folder

Step 2: Go into the challenges folder

Step 3 : Go into the My Challenges folder

Step 4: Paste the file there, it will now be selectable in-game,

For car skins:
Step 1: FOR CARS, copy the skin you want to use and then go into the skins folder

Step 2: Go into the vehicles folder

Step 3: Go into the StadiumCar Folder

Step 4: Paste the file there. It will now be selectable in-game
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 04/26/2008):
TMNF is a free game, if you have an account that you created downloading the game for free, people wont be able to see the avatar or the skins, so what you need to do is get an authenticated account, and to make this possible you must go to your profile and click where it says ¨buy account upgrade¨, this link will send you to the trackmania united forever site and there you will see the buying options for this game, once you buy united you will get a cd key, and you can use it to get both (TMNF and TUF) authenticate introducing the key where it says register paying key (in your profile). After this, people will be able to see your car skins and avatar.

A locator is a way to lower the amount of data transfered via p2p.
Here is the explanation : When playing on the net with a custom skin, the other players have to download your skin to be able to see it in-game.
If you're playing on a server with 20 people, your skins will have to be send to 20 people at the same time but without using all the bandwidth of your connection (else you couldn't play at the same time)

Dealing with a quite big skin (2mB for instance), data transfer should may take a long time and the other players won't see your skin for a while.
That's where locators are useful. They're basically telling the game that your skin is available on a website and that it would be better downloading it from there rather than from your own pc.
To make a locator, you just have to create a text file which has the same name as the resource to share and adding the '.loc' at the end.

The file only has to contain the URL pointing at the resource and must be placed in the same folder as your resource. For example, to create a locator for a skin whose name is MyAwesomeSkin.zip, you must create the file MyAwesomeSkin.zip.loc which contains the url http://www.mysite.com/MyAwesomeSkin.zip .
The url must start with 'http://' and it is possible to have more subfolders in the path (like http://www.mysite.com/dir1/dir2/dir3/MyAwesomeSkin.zip for example)
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/27/2007):
To install Cars in TMN, DL them off our Division website.

After you have downloaded them, place the unopened .Zip files into C:\Program Files\TrackMania Nations EWSC\Skins\Vehicles\StadiumCar
Open TMN, and go to profile to change your cars.

In the case that ASECO is down, please contact a Administrator or Division Leader for your division leader, in that order. The correct persons will be notified, and xASECO will be restarted ASAP.
(Submitted by Cpt.KBK on 10/27/2007):
Make sure you get a LOGIN ID, and a screenshot and then send them to division leader for TMNF. Their email addresses can be found on the main clan website's contact page or else on the division site's contact page.
(Submitted by Cpt.KBK on 10/27/2007):
If you do not belong to the clan, please email them to sundaydriver@clanubp.net.

If you are a member of the clan you can use the member control panel located at the TMNF Division Site. Simply log in using the form, and upload maps through the member area.

So, say you wanted to post a random video of a random jazz band playing a random song (no that's not me, it's really random).

Say the video is located at this URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_tbtdJoxpY

Simply put the URL in between [YOUTUBE][/YOUTUBE] tags, like so:

[YOUTUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_tbtdJoxpY[/YOUTUBE]

It shows up like this:

This is specifically against the Clan [uBp]™ rules. Please contact your division leader for assistance.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
There are three reasons for this; you are not registered and/or not logged on, the board administrator has disabled private messaging for the entire board, or the board administrator has prevented you individually from sending messages. If it is the latter case you should try asking the administrator why.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Locked topics are set this way by either the forum moderator or board administrator. You cannot reply to locked topics and any poll contained inside is automatically ended. Topics may be locked for many reasons.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Sticky topics appear below any announcements in viewforum and only on the first page. They are often quite important so you should read them where possible. As with announcements the board administrator determines what permissions are required to post sticky topics in each forum.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Announcements often contain important information and you should read them as soon as possible. Announcements appear at the top of every page in the forum to which they are posted. Whether or not you can post an announcement depends on the permissions required, which are set by the administrator.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag. You can also host images through Clan [uBp]™'s web host. Check the forums for information on hosting services.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Smileys, or Emoticons, are small graphical images which can be used to express some feeling using a short code, e.g. :) means happy, :( means sad. The full list of emoticons can be seen via the posting form. Try not to overuse smileys, though, as they can quickly render a post unreadable and a moderator may decide to edit them out or remove the post altogether. There are a few extra ones that don't normally appear next to the post, including some non-standard ones.
(Submitted by Cpt.KBK on 10/22/2007):
Some tags will work, some tags will not work. Use the BBCodes that are listed on the posting page, they'll do almost anything you want...
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. You can disable it on a per post basis from the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML: tags are enclosed in square braces [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. For more information on BBCode see the guide which can be accessed from the posting page.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Only registered users can vote in polls so as to prevent spoofing of results. If you have registered and still cannot vote then you probably do not have appropriate access rights.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Some forums may be limited to certain users or groups. To view, read, post, etc. you may need special authorization which only the forum moderator and board administrator can grant, so you should contact them.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
As with posts, polls can only be edited by the original poster, a moderator, or board administrator. To edit a poll, click the first post in the topic, which always has the poll associated with it. If no one has cast a vote then users can delete the poll or edit any poll option. However, if people have already placed votes only moderators or administrators can edit or delete it; this is to prevent people rigging polls by changing options mid-way through a poll.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Creating a poll is easy -- when you post a new topic (or edit the first post of a topic, if you have permission) you should see a Add Poll form below the main posting box. If you cannot see this then you probably do not have rights to create polls. You should enter a title for the poll and then at least two options -- to set an option type in the poll question and click the Add option button. You can also set a time limit for the poll, 0 being an infinite amount. There will be a limit to the number of options you can list, which is set by the board administrator
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
To add a signature to a post you must first create one; this is done via your profile. Once created you can check the Add Signature box on the posting form to add your signature. You can also add a signature by default to all your posts by checking the appropriate radio box in your profile. You can still prevent a signature being added to individual posts by un-checking the add signature box on the posting form.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Unless you are the board admin or forum moderator you can only edit or delete your own posts. You can edit a post (sometimes for only a limited time after it was made) by clicking the edit button for the relevant post. If someone has already replied to the post, you will find a small piece of text output below the post when you return to the topic that lists the number of times you edited it. This will only appear if no one has replied; it also will not appear if moderators or administrators edit the post (they should leave a message saying what they altered and why). Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Easy -- click the relevant button on either the forum or topic screens. You need to register before you can post a message. The facilities available to you are listed at the bottom of the forum and topic screens (the You can post new topics, You can vote in polls, etc. list)
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Sorry, but only registered users can send email to people via the built-in email form (if the admin has enabled this feature). This is to prevent malicious use of the email system by anonymous users.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Ranks are earned, not asked for. Your rank will be changed if you do good in the clan and are an active member.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Click on 'Profile' on the forums and then scroll down to the 'avatar' section and upload your own avatar. There are specific rules as to the size (both dimensions and memory size) so please check the member information area for the specific details.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
The most likely reasons for this are either the administrator did not install your language or someone has not translated this board into your language. Try asking the board administrator if they can install the language pack you need or if it does not exist, please feel free to create a new translation. More information can be found at the phpBB Group website (see link at bottom of pages)
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
If you are sure you have set the timezone correctly and the time is still different, the most likely answer is daylight savings time (or summer time as it is known in the UK and other places). The board is not designed to handle the changeovers between standard and daylight time so during summer months the time may be an hour different from the real local time.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
The times are almost certainly correct; however, what you may be seeing are times displayed in a timezone different from the one you are in. If this is the case, you should change your profile setting for the timezone to match your particular area, e.g. London, Paris, New York, Sydney, etc. Please note that changing the timezone, like most settings, can only be done by registered users. So if you are not registered, this is a good time to do so, if you pardon the pun!
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
All your settings (if you are registered) are stored in the database. To alter them click the Profile link (generally shown at the top of pages but this may not be the case). This will allow you to change all your settings.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
The address is not the standard for phpbb installations. It was changed for security reasons to a new page, located here. Read that page and you will find the link. If you follow those things listed on that page, you will be accepted; if not don't hold your breath.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
You either entered an incorrect username or password (check the email you were sent when you first registered) or the administrator has purged your account because of inactivity. If it is the latter case then perhaps you did not post anything? It is usual for Clan [uBp]™ to periodically remove users who have not posted anything so as to reduce the size of the database. If this is the case, please send an email to your division leader and they will look into the problem. You can get their information off of the contacts page.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
If you have yet to recieve an email stating that you have been accepted to the clan, then your user name and password will not be in the system and thus you will not be able to log in. If you have already recieved that email, check that you are entering the correct username and password. The password is case-sensitive, but the user name is not.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
In your profile you will find an option 'Hide Your Online Status'; if you switch this on you'll only appear to board administrators and to yourself. You will also be counted as a hidden user.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you log in, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university cluster, etc.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Go to the main join page and click on 'Submit Join Request'. Fill out the form as if you were joining the clan, but in the 'why are you here' text box at the bottom, simply tell us that you're with another clan or just want to register as a public person. Also, if you are with another clan, please include that in your user name at the top.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
In order to keep out some of the people that don't like what we're doing here, we require registration in order to see most of our forums and to post in any of them.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
This is a security measure. When an email address is changed, it requires an administrator to re-activate the account after the new email address is verified. It usually only takes a couple of hours for the email to get to an administrator for them to verify the new email and re-activate your account, so please be patient.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Have you registered? Seriously, you must register in order to log in. Have you been banned from the board? (A message will be displayed if you have.) If so, you probably can't read this question anyways. If you have registered and are not banned and you still cannot log in then check and double-check your username and password. If you have forgotten your password for the forums, click on 'Forgot Password' and you can get it emailed to you automatically.
(Submitted by Elwoodini on 10/22/2007):
Go to the 'New Member Introduction' section of the forums and introduce yourself. Then check out the rest of the forums, read up and make sure to check out the rules.
